Principal Member of Tech Staff (Labs Software Development)

The selected candidate will be responsible for service platform and service SW development for AT&T proprietary SDN, Orchestration, Management, and Policy modules. The candidate with develop software solutions following the agile software development process and will be critical members of SCRUM teams. Job responsibilities include defining end-to-end software designs and followed through with implementation in the core Domain 2.0 areas.
Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to ATTs compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Qualifications:
Entry into this title will require Technical Title Plan (TTP) Board Approval.
Candidate shall have a PhD in an approved field from an accredited university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in an approved field from an accredited university and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in an approved field from an accredited university and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
The position requires experience with real-time distributed software development, software development tools, programming languages, scalable and distributed software architecture design, workflow automation and service orchestration.
Experience with agile development methodologies, creating distributed cloud based software solutions with clear demarcation between functional modules.
Knowledge about IP networks and IP data structures is a plus.
