Position Overview
Extropy is currently recruiting for a fulltime Network Security Engineer with 5
years of experience in enterprise security. Ideal candidates have active JNCIE or CCIE certifications. However, lower level certified people will be considered with appropriate experiences and skill sets. Candidates should have strong Design background.

Qualified candidates will be hired into full time roles with Extropy and will be dedicated to supporting our customer, Juniper Networks. This is a highly technical role, providing post-sales on-site support of Junipers Network Products. The Security Engineer will be required to develop and maintain an expertise on the products deployed within the Customers network.

Non-local candidates will be considered, but must be willing to relocate to the city where the position is based.

Job Duties
Provide Operational and Deployment support
To develop detailed MOPS and Network Planning Letter and coordinate and track progress oof site prep and cutover readiness
The preparation of equipment configurations and validation of configurations for new installations, changes within the network, software upgrades etc
Development and maintenance of fault diagnosis procedures to support effective fault resolution
Development and maintenance of network operational support procedures related to the Juniper Networks products
Assessing the health of a network
Network related testing to ensure that the Juniper Networks products operate correctly
Implementation, integration & migration planning
Validation testing of the Juniper Networks products
Troubleshooting of network issues
Ongoing, informal, knowledge transfer
Acting as a technical liaison with Juniper Networks Customer
Service and Engineering groups:
Assisting JTAC with open JTAC cases
Submission of problem reports
Advice, and demonstration if necessary, of new software and hardware features


Requirements

years of network Deployment and Operations
Design Experience
One or more of the following certs (JNCIE, CCIE, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIA, CCNP)
Experience with SRX, ScreenOS, ISG firewalls
Familiarity with M, MX, and EX platforms
Strong OSPF
Experience with BGP, MPLS, MPLS L2/L3 VPNS

Highly Desirable Skills
CCIE,JNCIE
Experience with large scale network upgrades
