The Administrative Assistant will have a role in supporting Middletown's municipal management team, including our water resources, electrical and planning group, in the daily operation of the office, with a focus on administrative related tasks.
The candidate will act as a liaison to staff, management, vendors and clients and therefore, must have a professional and courteous disposition, with exceptional organization and communication skills.
This individual will have a role in leading or assisting with the following:
Preparation of documents for filing and scanning.
Sorting, scanning sand processing incoming mail.
Scheduling meetings, calls, luncheons, etc.
Daily RFP search and processing.
Prepare Hard Copy Public Bid Documents.
Take inventory of office supplies and reorder when necessary.
Assist others in the office with various standard office functions.
Qualifications:
5
years' experience in administrative role for a professional organization.
AEC industry experience highly desired.
Proficient in M.
S.
Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), have superior organizational abilities, pay attention to detail, be proactive in nature, and have exceptional technology skills.
